Items

Q u e s t s
- Aside from knowing large amounts of information on Isilme, the Tome Guardian also has an enormous stock of various items.
- You can complete quests to get items, and sometimes magic or markings.
- The Tome Guardian cannot refuse a request for a quest like he can for information.
- To start a quest simply begin a thread at the Hollow Manor and mention what type of item you want, or specifically, the exact item. Or simply that you want to do a quest.
- Quests vary from riddles, to word problems, to mazes, to personal goals and things to obtain from around Isilme.

I t e m s
- There are 5 item types; Battle, Controlling, Elemental, Healing, Mean
- Items can be potions, ordinary things, food or orbs
- The intensive list of items is unknown, but some are more basic than others, some more rare; depending on the strength or rarity will effect the difficulty of your quest
- Battle items can only be retrieved through gaining victory points in fights

Battle
Most often found in the forms of potions and food. Aids in fights by increasing certain physical stats and affecting the body in ways to make it more powerful or useful in battle. Most effects are always temporary. These items can be used outside of battle, but such seems pointless. They react more strongly if used by fire/earth elemental horses.

Controlling
Most often found in the form of potions, they are either spilled upon the intended user or ingested by the user. Very few are smoke/odor related and simply need to be broken open. These are most often associated with being able to control another, ranging from one to several that can be controlled for a certain duration of time. They react more strongly if used by a wind/light elemental horse.

Elemental
Most often found in the form of orbs, which are glowing balls of light and color. The orb generally hovers and follows the horse it has been given to or unearthed by. Their ability can be released through eating or destroying the orb. Generally eating will give the user temporary->permanent elemental magic. Destroying the orb is more likely to unleash the raw energy of the element, which is a great burst of power but can also injure the user. They react more strongly when used by horses who do not have any elemental powers

Healing
Most often found in the form of food, it either needs to be eaten or mashed into a juice/powder. The effects range from healing minor wounds->reviving the dead. Sometimes the healing item itself will not have enough power and require the energy of the user or surrounding area. If not expected this could kill the user; the magic cannot be stopped once started. They react more strongly/easily if used by an earth/water elemental horse.

Mean
Most often found in the form of ordinary things, such as rocks or feathers. There are many mean items throughout Isilme that go undiscovered because of their ordinary appearance, which makes them a rather difficult item to collect. A mean item can only be given/used on another individual, as their purpose is to somehow harm or inflict another. They can range from sickness and bruises->severed appendages. They react more powerfully if used by a dark or fire elemental horse.

M a r k i n g s
- Anyone can request a change in markings through completing a quest
- Markings can also include alterations to the body (different wings, more horns...)

D r a g o n s
- A dragon egg is usually offered only by way of Random Event
- Very rarely however the Tome Guardian my find himself in the possession of an egg, in which case it can be sought after as any other item
- Further information on Isilme dragons can be found in the rules and here
